The eloquent name speaks for itself. Everyone is familiar with window blinds assembled from slats. Fences and gates are made from picket slats using the same principle. The basic components of these fencing structures are:

metal frames made of 40 x 20 mm pipes;
U-shaped guides;
slats with rolled edges and angled fastening;
reinforcing and finishing U- and D-shaped strips.
Depending on their placement, they can be vertical or horizontal. The former are rarely installed, often to maintain the style of landscape design. Owners of summer cottages and houses often prefer similar designs with transverse rounded slats with a double-sided or single-sided matte or glossy finish.

Chain-link fencing is typically used in rolls 1.5-2 meters high (which is almost always sufficient for your fence) with a mesh size of 40-50 mm. A roll can contain 10 meters of mesh or more.

We recommend using posts made of 50x50 mm or 40x60 mm corrugated pipe; for cost savings, you can use 40x40 mm pipe. For convenience, some pipe manufacturers produce pipe posts with welded hooks.

The second option is galvanized mesh (it requires no maintenance and will last for many years).

The third option is galvanized mesh with additional polymer protection (the coating can be chosen in almost any color); green is a perfect match for trees and bushes.

Plastic mesh doesn't rust and comes in a wide range of colors. Unlike metal mesh, PVC chain-link fencing doesn't heat up in the sun. Therefore, it's impossible to burn yourself on such a fence. PVC mesh maintains its high strength despite its low cost per square meter, but metal mesh is still stronger!
